Prayer for us to have the veil lifted from our own eyes

Dear Heavenly Father,
You are the God who speaks through fire, through whispers, through dreams in the night and visions in the day. You are not silent, and You are not distant. You are calling Your people to wake up, to watch, and to prepare. So today, I come before You with urgency and reverence, asking for discernment, for myself and for my closest family.
Lord, open our eyes to see what You are showing. Open our ears to hear what the Spirit is saying. Let us not be dulled by routine or distracted by comfort. Let us be like the sons of Issachar, those who understood the times and knew what to do (1 Chronicles 12:32). Give us clarity, conviction, and courage to respond to Your warnings.
Let our hearts burn with holy fire. Let us not be found with empty lamps or dry wicks. Fill us with fresh oil - Your Spirit, Your truth, Your urgency. Trim our lamps with repentance and readiness. Let us live as those who expect the Bridegroom at any moment.
And Lord, I ask You to do for others what You did for me. Just as You gave me a message in my dream, give dreams and visions to those who are asleep. Shake them gently but powerfully. Let Your voice break through the noise of this age. Let Your Spirit stir them awake. Ignite a fire in their hearts that cannot be quenched.
Time is short. The signs are clear. The trumpet is near – even at the door. So, I ask You to pour out Your Spirit in these last days. Fulfill Joel 2:28. Let sons and daughter’s prophesy. Let old men dream dreams. Let young men see visions. Let the fire of revelation sweep through homes, churches, and nations.
And let me be faithful, Lord. Faithful to steward what You’ve shown me. Faithful to speak when You prompt me. Faithful to live as one who knows the hour.
In the name of Jesus—our soon-coming King—I pray,
Amen.
